We will take your photo, run it through an image enhancing software to make it as sharp as possible and engrave it on a live edge piece of basswood. We hand select our wood to make sure we get the best quality possible. With that said, please realize that this is real wood and there are imperfections in all wood that can affect the image quality. Things like worm holes and knots come out as darker spots when engraved. The round portraits vary from 8 -12 inches in diameter depending on the piece of wood. The rectangle pieces range from 9-12 inches wide and are up to 16" long. We will choose the best piece for your project. You can let us know if you have size limitations or any special request.
